TITLE: ASSISTANT EDUCATIONAL THEATRE ASSOCIATION/INTERNATIONAL THESPIAN SOCIETY SPONSOR
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Kentucky Certificate with proper endorsements.
- Such additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

JOB GOAL: To assist in providing instruction in theatre activities with a focus on developing vocal music skills needed for stage productions, to promote the theatre arts within the school community as well as to introduce new students to theatre techniques while maintaining high standards of excellence in the theatre program.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Assists the Sponsor as directed, including but not limited to:
- Supervises students immediately before, during, and after rehearsals, and during required travel.
- Develops programs for various public performance events.
- Prepares reports, records, documents, and other paperwork as required by EdTA/ITS.
- Maintains professional conduct and serves as a role model when representing the District during school functions and activities.
- Arranges public relations with various school and community resources and news media.
- Coordinates fund raising activities, transportation, student recognition and workshops.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Principal or the Superintendent.
TERM OF SERVICE: Salary and workdays to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Certified Personnel.
