TITLE:                 ASSISTANT ACADEMIC COACH

QUALIFICATIONS:    1.   Kentucky Certificate with proper endorsements.

2. Such additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

REPORTS:                  Academic Coach and Principal

SUPERVISES:             Not Applicable

JOB GOAL:                 To support and assist the Academic Coach in the fulfillment of the job goal for Academic Coach.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Assists the head coach, as directed, including but not limited to:

1. Supervising participants immediately before, during and after meetings and activities.
2. Participating in required training, activities, and matches related to extra duty assignment.
3. Conducting practice sessions, and serving as official during academic team matches.
4. Performing such other tasks and assuming such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Academic Coach, Principal or the Superintendent.

TERM OF SERVICE:             Salary and workdays to be established by the Board.

EVALUATION:                        Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Certified Personnel.
