TITLE:                 SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR (STC)

 

QUALIFICATIONS:    1.   Kentucky Certificate, Emergency Certificate or Certificate for Substitute Teaching preferred; or

  1. Classified employee exempt from overtime requirements; or
  2. Meets the requirements for paraprofessional personnel.
  3. Such additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board may find appropriate and acceptable.

 

 

REPORTS:                  Principal and Technology Coordinator

 

SUPERVISES:             Not Applicable

 

JOB GOAL:                 To assist teachers with technology related issues.

 

 

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Serves on the school and district Technology committee.
  2. Develops standards for the school technology plan.
  3. Trouble shoots computer problems and maintains inventory of software and hardware.
  4. Provides leadership for staff and students in the use of technology.
  5. Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Technology Coordinator, Principal or the Superintendent.

 

 

TERM OF SERVICE:             Salary and workdays to be established by the Board.

 

 

EVALUATION:                        Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Certified or Classified Personnel.
