TITLE: SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY COORDINATOR (STC)
QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Kentucky Certificate, Emergency Certificate or Certificate for Substitute Teaching preferred; or
- Classified employee exempt from overtime requirements; or
- Meets the requirements for paraprofessional personnel.
- Such additional qualifications as the Superintendent or Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
REPORTS: Principal and Technology Coordinator
SUPERVISES: Not Applicable
JOB GOAL: To assist teachers with technology related issues.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Serves on the school and district Technology committee.
- Develops standards for the school technology plan.
- Trouble shoots computer problems and maintains inventory of software and hardware.
- Provides leadership for staff and students in the use of technology.
- Performs such other tasks and assumes such other responsibilities as may be assigned by the Technology Coordinator, Principal or the Superintendent.
TERM OF SERVICE: Salary and workdays to be established by the Board.
EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with provisions of the Board’s policy on Evaluation of Certified or Classified Personnel. |
